Quirky Wedding Venues in Kent

We love covering Kent,  I mainly love it because I was born there and it has some quirky wedding venues. Some of my faves are Hever castle, Port Lympne Zoo and Marleybrook House.

Hever Castle is just beautiful it is a very VERY grand wedding venue where you can wine and dine your wedding guests. I love this venue as is the perfect fairytale wedding venue – getting married in a castle, YES PLEASE! It has the most beautiful grounds and it has an actual moat that goes around it. The food is out of this world and it also has some amazing five-star rooms for your guests to stay in.

Port Lympne Zoo it is such an amazing wedding venue. It has 4 stunning places that you can get married in. You can have a small intimate wedding in a tree-house, you can get married in a beautiful glasshouse. You can get married in the bear lodge which looks over the bear enclosure or you can get married in the Italian Villa Hotel. So there is so much choice at this beautiful zoo once you have chosen where you are getting married you can then work out the finer details such as your guests to go on a safari around the park. The zoo caters for big and small weddings and there is plenty of space for your wedding guests to stay if you are looking for a wedding venue with a difference this could be the venue for you.

Marleybrook House offers a gloriously secluded setting for a quintessentially English wedding. Hidden within five acres of woodland, this country house was once home to Eartha Kitt and is full of quaint charm and character. There are four ceremony areas to choose from including a romantic walled garden, the Oak Barn, the fairytale Gazebo and a stone arch in the Grand Marquee. Adjoining the marquee is a cosy bar and snug for your guests to relax in comfort and luxury. If that wasn’t enough, there is a vintage fun fair including Victorian swing boats and a big wheel, I love this wedding venue as not many bride and grooms can say they have a fair at there wedding. It is fun and quirky and it gives you a wedding with the WOW factor!
