Now, this was a tricky task from Tash -to ask me to narrow down my favourite venues to 5, we are more than spoilt for choice in Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, But…here goes!
1) Wasing Park
This venue is the perfect mix of the traditional and modern wedding. Lots of character and plenty of options for your big day-whether that be the outside ceremony area or a more intimate church setting. And the honeymoon suite is big enough for your entire wedding party and more- not that you’d want to share it with them!
2) The Elvetham
If the traditional manor house is what you’re after then, The Elvetham is the one for you! The grand sweeping staircase and the ornate decor gives this venue the grand feeling. A particular favourite of mine for a Christmas wedding. The Jane Austin suite also provides more than enough room for you and your bridal party to get ready in.
3) Farnham Castle
I mean, who doesn’t want to get married in a castle! The gatehouse is the perfect setting to get ready in, with plenty of space and light and airy rooms it’s not only a brides dream, its also a makeup artists dream too! They will look after you from the moment you cross the door until the moment you leave the next day. You’re in good hands with Farnham Castle.
4) Milbridge Court
A new venue on the scene but Millbridge Court has already made its mark with me. The settings out the back immediately make you feel like you’re in the middle of the woods. On a summers wedding day with those bi-folding doors wide open it really does create the ‘homely, relaxing’ wedding setting I love. Again, the bridal prep space is beautiful and makes an amazing backdrop to your photographer’s first pictures.
5) The Four Seasons
Last but by no means least, Maybe the most indulgent of my choices but hey, you’ve got to splurge a little on your wedding day, right? The Four Seasons elegant interior and beautiful setting over the Hampshire countryside will leave your guests in awe of your choice of venue! The food, the wine, the service will all be guaranteed 100% top notch…. and make sure you use that spa the day before if you can!
