Combe Manor near Hungerford One of Berkshire’s Most Romantic Wedding Venues

Combe Manor Wedding Venue Bride and Groom

Dating back to 1669, Combe Manor near Hungerford – is a stunning country house wedding venue. Charles II and Nell Gwynne are rumoured to have visited the house, and it certainly possesses a rich sense of history and heritage.

What I love about Combe Manor is that you get exclusive use of the venue. The organising team work incredibly hard to ensure that every aspect of a wedding is right for each bride and groom, their attention to detail is meticulous.

Ample capacity

Civil weddings can take place in the Barns, where up to 150 guests can be accommodated. If you want a church wedding, there is a lovely Grade 1 listed Norman church next door to Combe Manor (subject to eligibility, of course). Or you can marry in your local parish church and then transport your wedding party to Combe Manor for the celebrations.

The dining barn is a lovely setting for the wedding meal. And during the summer, there is a courtyard that is perfect for drinks and photographs. Step out into the garden and there are even more stunning photo opportunities. For the bride, you have your own beautiful bedroom in the manor house where you can get ready before the ceremony and get changed later.

Combe Manor works with various caterers, but you can select your own if you want. Likewise, they can recommend florists who know the venue and how to enhance it with floral arrangements. And if hubby-to-be (or you) are into classic cars, how about hiring the venue’s pristine vintage E Type Jaguar as a stylish prop for your photos!
